She obtained a double degree in Science (hons Maths major) and Engineering (hons) at Sydney uni and then a masters degree in engineering and worked in power stations. She worked as a Mathematics tutor at Sydney uni, whilst raising her four children, and also tutored high school students privately from home. Louise has worked as a high school maths teacher for the past 20 years and has recently obtained a diploma in counselling. She has also worked as an examiner and moderator for the IB, and has written HSC Maths examination paper solutions for the Mathematical Association of NSW . Louise has extensive experience teaching the tough subjects- SL and HL IB AA and AI, Extension 1 & 2 HSC, and university maths (Applied and Pure Maths, Statistics, Engineering Maths). She can do rocket science! She enjoys challenging gifted students and has run the HICEs Maths competition and supervised Maths Olympiads. She has also led small groups in workshops at Sydney university for IB maths students. Louise has also helped ESL students and those with learning disabilities reach their full potential.
